Wenshan to celebrate its 60th anniversary with a host of activities

[InKunming--Yunnan] April is the best time to enjoy travelling as everything comes to life from winter. If you have not made up your minds about travel destination, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture could be a nice choice. Wenshan will celebrate its 60 anniversary by holding a host of interesting activities from March 30th to April 2nd.

In details, a welcoming party will be held on the evening of March 31st. The next day, a large-scale theatrical performance themed on “New Era & New Wenshan” will be carried out. Shortly after that, a stunning bonfire party will be held at Panlong Stadium and Hualong Lake.

Most importantly, Wenshan launches a series of self-driving activities including four lines for travellers. Tourists could appreciate gorgeous sceneries and abundant resources when driving into Wenshan. Currently, two of them are executed. People could visit Martyr Memorial Park, Laoshan Peak, newly developed town and so on. Meanwhile, they also could drive to Tianbao Port emerald trading market and go sightseeing in other places.

In addition to launching self-driving lines, the government will subsidize 300 yuan for each private car from March 30th to May 30th. Any traveller has interest in it, he could contact with Yunnan Self-driving Union or Wenshan Tourism Association.

Besides, the 60th anniversary will be celebrated from April 1st to 5th. Those who were born on April 1st, model workers and moral models could enjoy ticket exemptions on several resorts by showing identity cards or relative certificates. Of course, local people could visit some scenic spots with half price by showing ID cards. One thing needed to be noticed is that those with student cards, serviceman cards, disability certificates cannot get any discount at ticket price.
