Over 3000 kinds of wine being exhibited at Kunming Intl Wine Festival

The chairman Chaohui Kang from Yunnan Wine and Spirits Industry Association indicated that Kunming International Wine Festival for the Chinese New Year is held for the first time this year, inviting nearly 20 exhibitors. It contains all the major brands in Yunnan wine market, such as Lafite, Remy Martin, Louis XIII, Maotai, Wuliangye, etc. Through promoting the wine brands and authentic products, it is hoped to improve consumers’ skills of wine tasting and identification.

In addition to be exhibited, the products will also be sold directly to the consumers who are going to the event, and the price will be lower than the market price, the official said.

“You can see different varieties of wine here, and selection range offered is really wide. Thanks to the wine association, the event, relatively speaking, seems more reliable and professional. If you want to buy a fine wine for the Spring Festival, it is a good choice to come here and select one.” When asked about the exhibition, one of the citizen said.

It is introduced that the consumption of imported wine continues rising in China from 2013 to 2017, which suggests that imported wine is increasingly receiving good reviews among Chinese people. The frequency of wine showing in a social place gradually increases as well. For the mass consumer group, on one hand, learning to taste wine is an option to promote a healthier drinking. On the other hand, for the catering industry and corporate executives, it is also a way to obtain an insight into the trend of catering market and to increase social competence.
