Kunming vows to hold better International Auto Expo in 2018

[InKunming--Kunming] The 19th China (Kunming) International Automobile Exposition will be held from June 28th to July 2nd the next year at the Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exposition plans to display cars in 11 pavilions, with an area of 140,000 square meters. By thus, it is the largest one in terms of scale comparing with previous ones.

Under the theme of "Men With Cars Create Wonderful Life", the expo is sponsored by Kunming Municipal People's Government, the Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Yunnan Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Information Office of the Yunnan Provincial People's Government, and is co-organized by Yunnan Provincial Road Traffic Safety Association.

The exposition will set up a limousine exhibition area, an imported brand cars exhibition area, a joint venture brand exhibition area, a financial area, a media area and so forth, providing citizens with opportunities to see concept cars and limousines.

In order to offer passengers the shortest journey time, the Organizing Committee will continue to work with Kunming Bus Company to open 8 dedicated lines. Citizens could choose the nearest station to take the bus to the exposition, such as Kunming Railway Station, Qianxing Road Bus Station, North Urban Bus Station, Mianshan Bus Station, Huangtupo Bus Station, East Bus Station, New South Coach Station. Meanwhile, people could also take Bus No. 32 and No. 255 to the spot.

It is in 2000 that the first China (Kunming) International Automobile Exposition was held. As the popularity increasingly grows, there were more than 100 exhibitors with 200 cars presented this year. The 2017 exposition have received 1.36 billion yuan on the spot and 380,000 visitors. The 19th China (Kunming) International Automobile Exposition will upgrade its service in all aspects and strive for an excellent auto show in 2018, according to a working staff.
