Budding wintersweets dress Black Dragon Pool Park up

[InKunming--Kunming] Over 20 wintersweets have been budding in bonsai garden of Black Dragon Pool Park (also named Heilongtan Park) recently because of adequate rainfall this year. More and more wintersweets will blossom one after another in the following days. Those who love flowers can go to admire them.

Black Dragon Pool Park is the largest garden planted with plum blossoms and wintersweets. People can appreciate blossoming flowers from December to Spring Festival. Expect for wintersweets in bonsai garden, clustered wintersweet buds sway with the wind in other places in the park. The air is full of the fragrance of wintersweet.

“Some people think that plum blossom and wintersweet are the same kind of flower. But in fact, they are different in terms of category of botany, appearance and florescence. In details, plum blossoms usually blossom in January and they have white, pink, purple and other colors. Wintersweets blossoms in November and they always present as wax yellow, golden yellow and pale yellow, according to Hua Shan, the senior engineer working in the park.
