[InKunming--Kunming] Lantern Festival, which was celebrated on Saturday(February 11) this year, marked the final day of the Chinese Lunar New Year. Sorts of activities were launched in Kunming’s Black Dragon Pool Park(also named "Heilongtan Park”) to celebrate the Lantern Festival. Residents enjoyed a joyful and memorable day.
Chilly weather came to Kunming on February 11th. Different flowers danced in the cold wind, such as plum blossom, azalea and so on. Meanwhile, dozens of people including old men and children practiced yoga in the park.
"Black Dragon Pool Park is the first demonstration base for outdoor yoga in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province. Professional yoga teachers teach citizens and visitors every Saturday morning from 9:00－10：00 in the park except for some special conditions. "We hope more and more people could get involved in yoga activity.” Said Liu Yan, the head of Kunming Yoga Association.

Guessing lantern riddles has always been the first choice for citizens, especially for kids during the Lantern Festival. Red lanterns were hung with lantern riddles. Lots of people tried to figure answers to the riddles out because the answers came with exquisite gifts.

In addition, delicious food cannot miss the chance to be part of the Lantern Festival. Rice noodles as one of the most representative snacks in Yunnan brought people a wonderful memory because of the Rice Noodles Festival where people could taste various rice noodles for free.
It is said that around 3,500 bowls of rice noodles were provided to citizens. " It was really cold today but we had a great time. We enjoyed delicious rice noodles with lots of people.” Miss Wu said.
