[InKunming--Kunming] An extra 15,000 public bicycles will be set to hit pavements of Kunming in March while 500 public bike stops will be completed then. In this way will the current public bikes meet challenges to win market.
Most importantly, people could ride the public bikes for free within one hour according to the Kunming Public Bicycles Implementation Plan, which has been previously agreed and adopted. It just costs 0.5 yuan per 30 minutes when people have ridden the bikes more than one hour. But people could just pay 15 yuan for using the bikes within the whole day.

In fact, public bicycles made their debut in 2012. However, the bikes just sat gathering dust in the end. Shortly after that, a series of difficulties were solved. Since last year, three different operators, including Mobike, OFO, and Yonganxing Bicycle Companies put a large number of public bicycles into services in Kunming.
