Irish National Choir Anuna to tour Kunming on August 14

[InKunming--Kunming]  Irish National Choir Anuna will tour Kunming with a wonderful show on August 14, Kunming Theater released.

In the evening of 14th, people who have bought tickets for the choir's show could enjoy their show in Kunming Theater.

A number of music works, created by Anuna Choir, won Grammy Awards several times.

Michael Mcglynn, an originator of the choir, is also a world famous music composer. Michael Mcglynn created music works for Anuna Choir, too.

In latest 10 years, a series of music albums that were created by Michael and on the theme of Christmas are warmly welcomed by thousands of people from western countries.

Anuna Choir, followed Irish President Mary Mcaleese to tour countries worldwide from 2004. The choir is deemed as a representative of Irish national image.

Classic music works, such as May It Be, a theme song of movie The Lord of the Rings, and Ode to Joy(Geantrai), one of the archaic music works of Ireland, were displayed and performed by Anuna Choir in the world.

Songs and tunes performed by the choir in Kunming this time include May It Be and Geantrai. Most of songs the choir performed in Kunming are full of special Irish features.
