13 roads to under traffic control during 2nd China-South Asia Expo

Cars without traffic permits are not allowed to enter sections of 4 roads around International Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 1. [Provided to InKunming]

[InKunming--Kunming]  The Second China-South Asia Expo will be held in Kunming from June 6 to June 10. Sections of 13 roads, which connect Changshui Airport and urban city or connect International Convention and Exhibition Centre and hotels, would be under temporary traffic control in different time periods from June 4.

The 13 roads are Airport Expressway, Chuncheng Road(春城路), Minhang Road(民航路), Rixin Road(日新路), Ring South Road, Beijing Road, Dianchi Road(滇池路), Yijing Road(怡景路), Guanjing Road(观景路), etc.

Besides, sections of 4 roads have been under traffic control from June 1. Cars without traffic permits are not allowed to enter Guomao Road(section from Chuncheng Road to Baohai Road), Guanxing Road(from Baohai Road to Haiming Road), Baohai Road(from Guomao Road to South Second Ring Road) and Haiming Road(from South Second Ring Road to Guomao Road).

During the expo, parking lots would be extremely in shortage. Cars are forbidden to park in the above 4 streets. Traffic police advised that cars would better park in Guanshang areas or in areas of the previous Wujiaba Airport. Residents are encouraged to take public transport means, such as buses and subways, to attend the expo.
