First Beijing-Naypyidaw round-trip flights launched via Kunming

First Beijing-Kunming- Naypyidaw air route is launched. [Yunnan.cn]

[InKunming--Kunming]  The first round-trip flights connecting Beijing and Naypyidaw, the capitals of China and Myanmar, were opened on April 29. Flights will also be stopped in Kunming on the way.

The new air route is said to be the third Sino-Myanmar air route launched by China Eastern Airlines. Its outbound flight, MU2587 in number, departs from Beijing at 9:05, stops in Kunming at 12:20, takes off again from Kunming at 13:30 and lands in Naypyidaw at 13:45(local time).

Its inbound flight, MU2588 in number, takes off from Naypyidaw at 14:40(local time), stops in Kunming at 17:55, departs from Kunming at 19:20 and arrives in Beijing at 22:40.

Flights of the newly launched air route will be executed every Tuesday and Saturday, and are expected to be increased progressively.

Consul-general of Myanmar in Kunming said, the new air route will surely give a good start to strengthen cooperation between China and Myanmar. (Editors: Tracy, Cathy Chen)
