A photo exhibition about southwest China's Yunnan province has been held in Honolulu from November 3 to 4. Photos about ethnic minorities' costumes, tea, gade and Dongba characters of Naxi people have showed a cultural feast to people in Hawaii.

Yunnan is a southwest province in China and Hawaii is a state of the United Stated in the Pacific Ocean

Connel, 6 years old, visited an exhibition of photos of Yunnan and said that he has never been to China before. He said that his mum, Laura, is attached towards Yunnan. If one day she goes to China, she will choose some distant areas with nice views such as Yunnan rather than the crowded metropolis.

An Pang has special feelings towards Pu'er Tea of Yunnan. He has inquired about the producing procedure and characteristics of the tea in the cultural exchanging event. He drinks tea every day as he thinks that it is good for health, and his attention to health care, in his eyes, is a vital reason for walking around freely, such as the exhibition. His wife told the reporter that he has been China about one year ago and brought back a lot of tea.

Yuan Guangxing(袁光兴), vice president of Overseas Exchange Association in Yunnan said: "We have visited San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles and Hawaii, showing American people our province Yunnan and are in the hope of cooperation with cities in the States. The world needs multi-culture as it helps promote the bilateral communications and exchanges. We expect to bridge cooperation between Yunnan and areas in the USA."
