Airbus A330-300 to be used on CEA's Kunming-Taipei flights

China Eastern Airlines (CEA)' Yunnan branch will operate Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the Kunming-Taipei flight, starting from December 2 this year.

The flight (MU2027/8) from Kunming to Taipei will be launched from December 2, 2012 to March 30, 2013. The services offer direct flights three times (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) a week. It will depart from Kunming at 17:40, arriving in Taipei at 20:50 and depart from Taipei at 21:50, arriving in Kunming at 1:10 next day.

A330-300 is the world's more advanced long-range twin-engine, dual-channel, wide-body aircraft. This jetliner has a range of 10,500 km (5,650 nautical miles) while carrying 300 passengers in a typical two-cabin arrangement, seating 38 in first or business class. Besides, it has a large cargo capacity, comparable to early Boeing 747s.(Editor:Ryan Lee)
