Yunnan's foreign trade of fruits exceeded $100 mln

Foreign trade of fruits in Yunnan exceeded 100 million dollars with an amount of 269,000 tons in the first fours months this year. The export of fruits reached 28,000 tons, tripling of that of the same period last year. The import totaled 241,000 tons, showing a 19 percent year-on-year increase, according to Kunming Customs.

In details, the exporting fruits from Yunnan involve in over ten kinds from January to April in 2012. With an export of 17,000 tons, the orange is the biggest exporting fruit, increasing eight times year on year. On the facet of importing, fruits such as water melon, banana, litchi, durian and pomelo shows a growing tendency. (Editor:Lynn)
