Chinese food cooking skills competition launched in Kunming

About 3000 elite chefs from cross the country take part in the 4th Chinese food cooking skills competition in Kunming, October 18, 2011. Focusing on green foods and Pan-Asian cuisine, the 21st China Chef Festival and the 1st Dianchi Pan-Aisa International Food Festival was held Tuesday morning in Kunming. Starting in 1990, the China Chefs Festival has become the grandest event in China's catering industry. Every October, thousands of chefs, catering operators and scholars will gather in a host city to participate in the culinary event. [Photo/Li Fei]
