Luosiwan Int’l Trade City boomed during past holidays

The Luosiwan International Trade City received numerous visitors during the National Day holidays.

Integrating tourism, shopping and recreation, the trade city has been listed in AAAA national level scenic spots since March 2011.

Next to the South Bus Station in Kunming, the Luosiwan International Trade City is a distributing center for tourists who want to travel in south and southwest Yunnan.

Mr. Ma from Shaanxi Province heard that Luosiwan Int’l Trade City is the largest trade center in China. Ma came to the trade city during the National Day holidays and found that it really reflects the reputation.

Mr. Zhang spent a whole day on shopping in the trade city with his families and bought lots of things. Zhang said, Luosiwan Int’l Trade City is very large in his first impression. He just walked almost one tenth of the trade city in the day. Moreover, Zhang thought that the parking lots and shopping ways were advanced.

According to a boss of clothes shop, his business boomed during the holidays. The turnover nearly doubled the usual’s. “Lots of tourists are nonlocal.” Wholesale was influenced, but numerous retails brought profits.

Mr. Zhang spent a whole day on shopping in the trade city with his families and bought lots of things. Zhang said, Luosiwan International Trade City is very large in his first impression. He just walked almost one tenth of the trade city in the day. Moreover, Zhang thought that the parking lots and shopping ways were advanced.

Miss Huang from Guangxi Province came to Kunming after travel Ruili. Huang said, “I have heard of Luosiwan International Trade City. I will not miss it.” Huang went to the trade city with husband.

Luosiwan International Trade City is cooperating with Yunnan Tourist Administration and more than 30 travel agencies. A bus distributing center will be constructed in the trade city. The travel routes cover Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La, Xishuangbanna, Tengchong and Ruili.

Covering jewelry, jade, tea, curio, flowers, specialties and folk cultures, the Luosiwan International Trade City is a one-stop shopping center. It is the first shopping center which integrates tourist attractions, city’s features and shopping spots. It is an integration of sightseeing, shopping, recreation and repast. It has shown that the tourism of the trade city is beginning to take shape.(Editor:Tina He)
