In English writer James Hilton’s novel Lost Horizon, Shangri-la is an eternal and tranquil land. NiRu (尼汝), is a forestry place with green mountains and preserved pristine landscapes in Shangri-la.

Here in Niru, many Tibetan villagers live a peaceful and carefree life, and they always go to bed with the lamb, and rise with the lark. Located in the mysterious valley, Niru is regarded as a place where people prefer drinking themselves to death. It is a paradise for tourism, adventure and hiking.
