Landslide hits Zhenxiong County, fortunately left no casualties

A 3-hour landslide has hit the Shanshulin Village within Tangfang Town of Zhenxiong County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan at about 20:00 of December 28. Fortunately, it left no casualties. According to the local government’s preliminary data of statistics, the accident has caused 74 civilian houses destroyed, 1 county and township road blocked and a large number of household furnitures and appliances, livestock, as well as food damaged, which has brought a direct economic loss of about 1.55 million yuan. The cause of the landslide is under investigation.
