Kunming is proposed to construct 26 parking buildings in main city to solve the vexatious car parking issue.

For the 26 parking buildings, 2 of which are planed to build in Guandu District, 9 in Panlong District, 7 in Wuhua District, 8 in Xishan District, and enterprises are welcomed to participate in their construction according to the introduction meeting.

5 parking buildings have already signed construction contract with an investment of 100 million Yuan. It is learned that these 5 parking buildings will be respectively build in the First People’s Hospital of Yunnan(云南省第一人民医院), Green Lake View Hotel(翠怡酒店), Ark Building(方舟大厦) , Kunming Zoo(昆明动物园) and Luoshiwan(螺蛳湾) that will give Kunming an additional 1,000 parking spaces.
