Founding of Yunnan Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok promotes Thai-Yunnan cooperation

Thai-Yunnan Chamber of Commerce was founded recently in Bangkok.

The newly elected chairman of Thai-Yunnan Chamber of Commerce Yang Yuanhui (杨源辉) expressed that the founding of Chamber of Commerce will not only strengthen ties among Yunnan natives in Thailand but also promote cooperation between Yunnan and Thailand. Thailand's deputy minister of commerce Aron Gong • Warab (阿隆功•瓦拉布) addressed for congratulation of the establishment of chambers of commerce.

It is reported that there are more than 100 thousand Yunnan natives in Thailand until now.

Officers of embassy of the People's Republic of China in Royal Thai, Thailand Ministry of Commerce and other departments, and representatives of Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, Chinese Junior Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, Jiushu Assembly of Thailand and other Chinese associations and organizations in Thailand also attended the inaugurating meeting.
