2019 Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Expo to kick off on Nov. 21 in Kunming

[InKunming--Sister Cities] The 2019 Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Expo (LMCE) will be held from November 21 to 25 at Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The LMCE will set up 2,000 international standard booths covering an area of 40,000 square meters. The contents of LMCE include cross-border investment and trade, cultural tourism, and special products of countries in the Lancang-Mekong region. It is estimated that 18 countries will participate in the LMCE.

At the same time, a forum, which officials and experts from six countries along Lancang-Mekong River discuss the developing direction, will be held during the LMCE.

It is noteworthy that LMCE will firstly set up an international talent exchange platform and hold a Southeast and South Asia working festival focusing on the exchange and interaction of international talents, cross-border entrepreneurship and employment, and the incubation and cultivation of international talents. More than 1,000 enterprises, 60 colleges and over 50,000 talents from home and abroad are expected to attend the expo, while over 10,000 pieces of employment information will be published at the expo.

The LMCE is hosted by China Chamber of International Commerce; organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Yunnan Sub-Council, People’s Government of Kunming Municipality, Yunnan Urban Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd; executed by Oriental Universal International Convention & Exhibition Group Co., Ltd, Guangzhou WINBTB Exhibition Service Co., Ltd.
