[InKunming--Yunnan] Duxiang (Duyun-Shangri-La) Expressway connecting Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces will become a new tourist route for people in southwest China to travel to Pearl River Delta or Beibu Gulf areas.

Duxiang Expressway spans 1,114 kilometers, among them, 493 km in Guizhou, 292 km in Yunnan and 329 km in Sichuan. At present, it is the first national highway under construction in Zhaotong city. It will only take about 10 minutes from Zhaotong in Yunnan to Bijie in Guizhou, and 1 hour to Jinyang in Sichuan.

At the same time, Duxiang Expressway will help about 20 townships in tough fight against poverty in Zhaotong, of which 19 townships will be equipped with toll booths. In this way can agricultural products go to outside markets.

4

Zhaojin section of Duxiang Expressway starts from Shouwang town (守望乡), runs through Zhaoyang District, Ludian County and Qiaojia County and stops at Chunjiang Township, Jinyang County, Sichuan Province. It is estimated that the project is planned to be completed and open to traffic at the end of 2021.

7

In addition, Duxiang Expressway passes by plenty of tourist attractions. In the near future, the economy and tourism will be rapidly improved as the Duxiang Expressway opens to traffic. Namely, the Duxiang Expressway will be a good example to prove that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.
