About 2,800 enterprises to attend Kunming Intl Agricultural Expo

[InKunming--Yunnan] The 14th China (Kunming) International Agricultural Exposition will be held at Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center (main venue) from October 11 to 15. It is said that about 2,800 enterprises from 21 countries and regions will participate.

This Expo will set over 4,000 standard booths in 10 pavilions, with a total exhibiting area of 100,000 square meters. At the same time, it will hold two branch venues, Dounan International Flower Market (in Chenggong district) and Chennong Agricultural Expo Park (in Songming county). 

The organizing committee has prepared 500,000 free tickets, and 300,000 of which are distributed in different prefectures and cities. Those who are interested can get a ticket at Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center. It should be reminded that the opening ceremony will be held on the morning of October 11 and will close to the public. Citizens will be allowed to enter the venue from 12:00 on that day.

It is noteworthy that the No. 4 pavilion covering 2,800 square meters will present advanced technologies in agricultural field. Various agricultural machinery and equipment will be gathered there, such as mini-agricultural machinery, plant protection drones, drying equipment and so on.

If you are tired or hungry when walking around the expo, the best destination is No.5 pavilion. Over 300 enterprises with many kinds of marvelous foods will gather there. People can not only try local cuisines from Yunnan, but also have chances to take a bite of cuisines from home and abroad, like Mongolian noodles, Indian flying cakes, Korean spicy rice cakes and etc..

In addition, 35 bus routes were opened during the expo to provide visitors with convenience. What’s more, Chennong Agricultural Expo Park (in Songming county) is not freely open to the public, and requires 30 yuan for each person.
