“Maker in China” Artificial Intelligence Competition to start in Yunnan

[InKunming--Yunnan] 2018 “Maker in China” Artificial Intelligence Competition will start on September 10 in Kunming, news from Kunming Huchuang Entrepreneur Center.    

A consecutive forum that is themed on Digital Economy will also kick off on September 15 in Pu’er, Yunnan after the competition. Both the competition and the forum are supported by Chinese ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Five start-up projects that win awards from the competition could be selected for national finals in later time and will be provided with professional guidance on how to start up a new business and opportunities for exhibiting projects in the public. 

Kunming Huchuang Entrepreneur Center that was founded in 2015 has served for over 2,000 middle and small-sized enterprises now. Young college students and women are its key service targets.

A principal from the center said that the upcoming competition and forum are organized for promoting development of artificial intelligence and digital economy in Yunnan, helping local enterprises to step into digital age more quickly.
