​Sixteen countries' reporters visited Chenggong during 5th CSA Expo

[InKunming--Kunming]  In the afternoon of June 13th, 58 foreign reporters from 16 countries together visited Chenggong, Kunming during the 5th China-South Asia Expo.

The visiting activity is a part of "Yunnan Travel" Activities that are organized by Yunnan Provincial Government, targeting for making Yunnan known by foreign countries especially by those reporters from South Asian and South-east Asian countries.

In Chenggong, the reporters respectively visited Yunshang Smart Town, construction site of Metro Line 4, and Dounan Flower World Center.  

At Yunshang Smart Town, Chinese staffers introduced Internet development situation to the foreign reporters. Staffers said microsoft cloud, big data, robot, and relative artificial intelligence products are being researched and developed in the town.

At construction site of Metro Line 4, Chinese constructors described the metro project's PPP operation model, guided the reporters to know about their general construction method, technology, and process on the metro project.

At the visiting spot of Dounan Flower World Center, kinds of fresh flowers appeared in front of these foreign reporters, arousing their enthusiam to take photos by mobile phones and cameras. 

Until now, the center has become the first flower town in China. It is also the first innovation center for flower industry in Asia, too. In future, the center will develop into the first flower trading base in the world, a staff member of the center told the reporters.

"Yunnan Travel" Activities which started from 2011 have organized many reporters from main-stream media of South Asian and South-east Asian countries visiting Yunnan. The activities built a bridge for foreign reporters to know Yunnan better, and meanwhile strengthen mutual friendship and trust between China and other countries.
